Outdoor and Adventure Sport Undergraduate Courses. Turn your passion for the outdoors into a successful career in a rapidly evolving industry promoting quality of life through challenging activities. Based at our Buxton Campus, within a rope’s throw of the Peak District National Park, we’ll equip you with an understanding of the natural environment, human physiology, and how to reduce risk through strong outdoor leadership.

Action-packed career: Become equipped with strong practical skills throughout your degree through a combination of residential, overseas and day trips. Previous students have been to places such as Snowdonia, the French Alps, Morrocco, Greece, China and Norway.
​Expert teaching team: Learn from highly qualified experts who have a wealth of professional experience in outdoor and adventure sport as instructors, leaders, coaches and international competitors. We also call on our extensive contacts across the sector to add an extra dimension to your studies through specialist tuition and guest lectures.
Professional experience: Have the opportunity to enhance your practical skills by securing work placements or internships, you also have the option to take an Industrial Placement Year, allowing you to network in your industry and stand-out in the graduate job market.
