Paddle Peak are the proud owners of two shiny new Prospectors from Hou Canoes. The boats will be used for regular river clean ups and come and try paddling sessions up and down the the River Derwent.
The Paddle Peak team will be out in these new boats very soon, in socially distanced pairs of course, removing flood debris that is stuck in the trees along the river banks left over since last year floods.
Pete Astles, Paddler Peak’s founder commented “ It’s so great to receive these boats from Justin at Hou Canoes. They’ll be a massive help to our river cleaning activities. Plus the local kids will really enjoy taking them out on the water too, once we get through the current covid situation. “
Justin Snell, from Hou Canoes added “ Hou Canoes are honoured to be able to help the amazing cause that is Paddle Peak with two dedicated canoes that will now be used on the regular river cleans. This will help the volunteers to be able to clean even more sections of river than ever before. If you see the team out and about always give us a wave and a shout! “
