Come and try kayaking over the bank holiday on The Cromford Canal. August ( 26-28th ) as part of the Cromford Mills Adventure Weekend.
Sessions are for local youngsters aged between 7-16yrs. They are free of charge and run every 45 mins from 10am each day. Bookings are in person only, at the canal wharf from 9am each day. Sorry no bookings in advance.
Equipment and expert instruction will be provided.
Wetsuits and rashies advisable. Shorts and T shirts will work too. Wear beach shoes or old trainers. Bring a change of clothes.
Venue: Cromford Canal. Cromford Mills. DE4 3RQ
Registration: 9am onwards.
Session Times: 9.45 am -1pm. 2pm - 5pm. Starting every 45 mins.

Slalom coaching for Paddle Peak kids with Olympians on the River Derwent, just opposite Willersley Castle. 11am - 12pm
Slalom demonstartion and kids race on in the canal basin. 1pm - 2pm.
Afternoon - Meet our Olympians Adam Burgess and Kimberley Woods and receive a free signed poster.
Sunday
Pyranha Kayak Cross Head to Head Knockout. Canal Basin. For volunteers and Paddle Peak kids 1pm - 2pm
Monday
Freestyle Demo / Polo Demo and Paddle Peak kids game. 1pm - 2pm
