Calling all Cromford, Matlock Bath and local area youngsters. Fancy trying kayaking? Come along to Cromford Mill over the bank holiday weekend and give it a go.
Paddle Peak, headed up by local provider Escape UK are running kayaking sessions from 10am - 5pm Saturday , Sunday and Monday at Cromford Wharf. Come and meet Olympic Champion Etienne Stott ( Sunday ), World Champion James Bebbington, who’ll show you some amazing freestyle tricks, and Super Sal Montgomery who recently saved Steve Backshall on his Expedition TV series.
Equipment, and instruction will be provided at no charge. Bring a towel and a change of clothes. Wear shorts or tracksuit bottoms, a thermal or rashy top and old trainers. Sign in from 9am each day at the Wharf.
